What you did not hear!

Many heard or saw on the news the incredibly brave and heroic swim of 13-year-old Austin, who swam for 4 hours and then ran for 2 hours to sound the alarm for his mother and siblings, who had been swept out to sea on paddleboards in Western Australia.

An amazing young man!

He said he thought happy thoughts, fighting the guilt and fear that he wasn’t swimming fast enough to get help. He also thought about his girlfriend — cute!

But also, what he said was not played on our news (as usual). Take a quick listen!

I did a post recently entitled “The New Normal,” where Christians are being persecuted around the world, where Christianity is being marginalised, and where church biblical values and morals are being called “far right” and “radical.”

Well, now we see the NZ Defence Force is running exercises “hunting down” Christian extremists. Based in the South Island, Nelson, etc. is mentioned in the “training programme,” although the South Island map is placed up by Indonesia, etc.

Obviously, if they were to say they are hunting down and killing Muslim terrorists/extremists (the majority of terrorists in the world), that would be so un-woke, so un-PC, and insensitive, causing backlash from you-know-who (the Greens, etc.).

Yet this Defence Force training manual can say “Christian far-right extremists/terrorists,” and the powers that be are silent about it, therefore obviously happy about it.

Where is the outrage from Christian MPs? Unbelievable.

Apparently, there are not even any Christians listed on the NZ terrorist watch list. Why could they not just say “terrorists/extremists”? Why use the word “Christian”?

This just seems like another link in the chain heading in the wrong direction — or should I say, the right direction: the return of Christ.

Wake up, people!

Waitangi Day in NZ – a day to remember when two cultures came together to form one nation: New Zealand / Aotearoa.

I hope and pray we can be one, but sadly many celebrations today feel more divisive than unifying. Politics and protests overshadow what should be a day of reflection and celebration.

Many say they cannot celebrate because of past wrongs and differing interpretations of the Treaty. While many injustices have been apologised for and compensated, for some it will never be enough. The call for separate systems of government, health, and justice is seen by most Kiwis as divisive, not unifying.

I love my Māori brethren, and many of my closest friends are Māori. I grew up in a NZ with far more unity than we see today. Now it feels impossible to express an opinion without being labelled or attacked.

Raising concerns is often dismissed as racism rather than discussed honestly. Unity is replaced with division, and common sense is often lost in political correctness.

We live in a beautiful land that ultimately belongs to the Lord. “The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof.” We are stewards, and the Bible says it is unity that commands a blessing. Division breeds bitterness and hatred.

When missionaries arrived in Aotearoa, many Māori freely embraced the Gospel, and revival spread through the tribes. I pray it happens again, as true unity is only found in Christ.

As Scripture says, Jesus breaks down the dividing wall, making us one in Him.

Have a blessed Waitangi Day.

It is so very sad when corrupt and immoral people are in power. No wonder we are encouraged to pray for those who “rule” over us.

But the three Gs that have trapped humanity since the fall in the garden — Gold, Glory, and Girls — are still trapping men and women today.

The old saying is so true: power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Organ harvesting, forced euthanasia, and, as I have posted recently, the mutilation of young teenagers’ bodies.

We need godly MPs who will stand up against these tragic medical practices — abortion, euthanasia, transitioning of minors, and organ harvesting.
Just because something is legal does not make it right. Sadly, what you legalise, you normalise. Time to turn it around!

“Do no harm” — the Hippocratic oath!

I mentioned several posts back that this barbaric surgery on young people would stop when multiple lawsuits from those whose young bodies were harmed began to come to pass.

When their pockets are hit — because many perform these surgeries for the almighty dollar.

Well, here it is — and not before time!

Young teenagers’ bodies are mutilated for life at an age when they cannot even vote, drink, or legally have sex.

Her mother said she was told that if she did not allow her daughter’s breasts to be cut off, she would lose her daughter to suicide. These counsellors and others involved should be held accountable!

What an adult sadly chooses to do is one thing, but children who are still trying to find their identity is another. Our government must continue to stop practices like binding, puberty blockers, and, of course, this horrendous surgical practice.

We want to protect them from social media — how about this?

Thanks to Rod Kane, Ian Wishart, and others who have written thoughtfully about how this tragedy may have been avoided. This is not about racism or politics — it’s about honesty, accountability, and common sense. My heart goes out to the families of those precious lives lost. 🙏❤️🙏

Rod Kane, a former geotechnical contractor with decades of experience, explains that landslips are not new, nor are they mysterious. Rain, gravity, soil type, slope angle, and vegetation determine stability. Deep-rooted trees play a crucial role in preventing slips.

It is now evident that Tauranga Council, at the insistence of iwi and using ratepayer money, removed large trees from the area simply because they were considered “colonial.” This is where ideology overrode engineering. Vegetation was removed, stability was compromised, and tragedy followed.

Ironically, the same voices now speak of “healing the maunga” and spiritual explanations, while ignoring the very real engineering causes. This was not climate change. It was not spirits. It was a civil engineering failure.

Where were the council engineers when the trees were removed? Why wasn’t expert advice heeded?

An inquiry is inevitable, but the real question is whether the elephant in the room will be addressed — or whether we’ll hear more ideological excuses and pay more in taxes.

Now is the time for New Zealanders to wake up, take interest in local and national governance, and demand competence. Because if nothing changes, this will happen again.

I’m not sure why every Kiwi stuck in traffic on our “overcrowded” roads, every Kiwi concerned about our “overcrowded” healthcare system, and every Kiwi sick of polluted beaches and plundered shellfish wasn’t at Victoria Park today.

Oh, that’s right — it was @briantamakinz organising the event, speaking up about mass immigration. The same man the media has lied about and twisted for decades.

But tell me — who else is speaking up for families?
Who else is prepared to do something?
Who else is willing to put themselves out there?

I’ve said before, I’m not completely opposed to immigration. With so many Kiwis leaving NZ, without immigration there would be no one left.
But as a Kiwi born and bred, I’m deeply concerned that our infrastructure hasn’t kept up. Our population has doubled in my lifetime — from 2.7 million to 5.3 million — yet we still have the same old Harbour Bridge.

With population growth, increased taxes, massive housing developments, and huge rates revenue, infrastructure development should be far better. Instead, it’s pathetic.

Yes, I’m concerned about mass immigration — but my biggest concern is the spiritual impact.
More mosques and temples than churches being built.
Massive shrines going up with no consent, all in the name of culture.
Try putting up a cross — I have 🥲.

Brian wants NZ to return to its Christian roots, and that’s something every Christian should stand for.

Politically, there’s little hope when leaders bow in temples, praise socialist mayors overseas, or stay silent on the murder of thousands of babies — one of the greatest blights on our nation.

Everyone talks about the economy, but blessing follows morality — not the other way around.

The irony? Hundreds of police were deployed today — not for criminals, but for law-abiding Kiwis concerned about their country.
Others were allowed across the bridge, but today it was “not safe.”

Hypocrisy at its finest.
Just saying.

It is time for Christians, churches, and pastors to wake up and speak up, for it can be the same old same old.

Television — some today may call it “hellivision”

Television — some today may call it “hellivision” for what’s on it now — the rubbish of many programmes, the immorality, the filth, and the stupidity available on our screens today!

TV came to NZ when I was 10, in 1960 — black and white, and who remembers the bunny-ear indoor aerials? Colour didn’t arrive until 1973; I was 23 years of age. How times have changed!

But I just love the words of the reporter in this 1926 clip, declaring the thought of transmitting pictures through the air — “How absurd!”

It reminds me of the true story of the first government appointee in Atlanta, USA, who declared at a train stop that there was only a need for one hotel and one store.

Vision — it’s a powerful thing! Now we have AI and transhumanism coming. How absurd, you might say. Life will carry on as we know it — but will it?

It’s going to be a “Brave New World,” as predicted.

Many have seen the video of a council worker water

Many have seen the video of a council worker watering plants in heavy rain. As the screenshot says, “If you want to know where your rates dollars go” — literally down the drain.

The waste is unbelievable: endless cones, multiple safety trucks with flashing lights just to cut grass on a bank, and ongoing traffic chaos across Auckland. Empty bus lanes, cycle lanes, and congestion that now lasts all day.

For those who’ve travelled in the US, “turn right on red” when nothing is coming is a simple way to help traffic flow. Here it would be turn left on red — easy, practical, and helpful. But no, instead we water already soaked plants in the rain!

As mentioned yesterday (but worth repeating), the Government announced through its climate change relief fund that local marae down the Cape will receive one million dollars to compensate them for helping flood victims. Good on the local marae — awesome people, well done. They clearly didn’t help for money, just like many other charities that received nothing.

For example, Ps Norm and Jess McCloud and the amazing House of Breakthrough — they always step up and go the extra mile, as seen on TV recently. It would be great if the Government recognised the work of churches, charities, and organisations equally.

Let’s be honest — one million dollars is a lot of kai 🤔. It feels very PC and vote-driven, especially when Māori corporations, trusts, and iwi already hold billions. If they wanted to, they could support local marae themselves.

Again, it’s another example of taxpayer money being played with. And then the Herald headline says Nicola Willis promises a tight rein on spending — great start, Nicola! Just saying.

What a sad mess again around the Cape at Gisborne

What a sad mess again around the Cape at Gisborne — all the slash coming down from the milling of the vast pine forests that have been planted in a nonsensical idea to combat global warming. The mess blocks rivers, causing huge damage, destruction, and devastation. The beaches, farms, and roads down the East Cape are once again completely covered with logs and branches.

Planting pine trees is the government’s/greenies’ idea to combat so-called global warming. Pine trees ruin grassland, and at the milling of them, look what happens.

For NZ to try and go carbon neutral by 2050 is a joke. We as a nation give off under 1/2 of 1% (in fact 0.17%) of global greenhouse gas emissions. Yeah, we will make a huge difference — yeah right!

And by the way, if achieved, we would not do a thing globally. Not only that, but the cost will send the country broke in this foolish pursuit.

Google says up to five trillion dollars.

2030 targets will cost between $3.7 billion and $23.7 billion — who knows? They don’t, for sure, with a range like this. What another joke coming out of the Beehive!

Many scientists do not even agree with the global agenda and propaganda about climate change. Al Gore, who said the planet would be dead by now, has been completely debunked. Even Bill Gates has come out recently and said climate change, global warming, is not what we thought.

Every bit of extreme weather that has been happening for centuries is blamed on climate change. We hear more of it today due to worldwide communications that were not around 100 years ago — TV, internet, etc.

If it’s a snowstorm, or heavy rain, or a hot day — according to the news, cold or hot — it’s climate change! Wake up, people!

We also need to take into account that populations are growing (NZ has grown over 3 million in my lifetime), and we are building in places that people shouldn’t.

My heart breaks for the people who have been affected by this — the loss of lives, the hardship, the clean-up. We could do better than this.

All I am saying here is that apparently 30% (see article) suffer side effects – flu-like symptoms, but it is not the flu according to the “powers that be”, the CDC.

A layman like me could ask, “What’s the difference?” Who wants to feel the symptoms even though it’s not the “real thing”?

30% is just a little high, don’t you think? And you have to ask, are the other 70% totally immune to the flu that year?

It is encouraging to read that “not everyone experiences side effects after the shot.”

But you do what your good doctor (and many are awesome, and I so appreciate the good ones) and maybe what “big pharma” tell you to do.

I’m just reporting on the news. Just saying.

Prayer is also a good antidote. Living and eating healthy, and getting some vital vitamin C and D from the sun, not that we have seen much this year! Believing for health, strength, peace, and prosperity this coming year – how about you?

Eight failed abortions — late-term abortions where the baby survives the procedure but is left to die on the tray.
17,785 abortions last year in NZ (an average of 50 babies a day murdered), an increase of 34% since the horrendous law change pushed through by Jacinda Ardern under the cover of COVID.

And believe it or not, the report refers mainly to “person” or “people,” not “woman” (check out my last post, Can a Man Get Pregnant? and a doctor’s answer).

Here in NZ, Jacinda Ardern is accountable for bringing in this murderous act.
Now Christopher Luxon is accountable for ignoring this horrendous blight on our nation.

When Roe v Wade was overturned recently in the USA, one of the then MPs (Simon O’Connor) rightfully tweeted, “A good day for America.”
Luxon made him take it down.

Shame also on every Christian MP who is not shouting this from the rooftops, and who is not brave enough to stand up to this evil and overthrow it.

New Zealand cannot expect the blessing of God while this is happening. Mark my words — there will be more storms, earthquakes, violence, trouble, and problems, etc., etc., etc.
Because, just as the Bible declares, “the devil comes in like a flood.”

But I hope and pray that God — as the Bible also says — will raise up a standard of righteousness, for it is righteousness that exalts a nation, and sin is a reproach to any nation.

Do people really think like this, believe this, and be so misguided — and incredibly, be a doctor as well?
Doctors are supposed to be the intelligent ones (and I’m sure many are), but this doctor is not one of them!

This is how crazy it gets when society moves away from God and the Bible. In the beginning, God created male and female.
Common sense goes out the window and deception comes in because, as the Bible says, “they did not love the truth, so God gave them over to deceptive spirits.”

Let’s be honest — there is no other explanation for such foolishness.
For again, as the book of Romans says, “professing to be wise, they became fools.”

So the Harbour Bridge is safe to drive over every day. It was safe for the Hikoi, the marathon runners, and the Gaza protest — but suddenly it’s structurally unsafe for Destiny/Patriots to walk over it.
“Serious structural damage” — yeah right!

Whether you agree with the cause or not is beside the point. Anyone can see the double standard.

I’m not against immigration — I’m married to one, and our church is full of amazing people from over 70 nations. But as a citizen, I’m deeply concerned about mass immigration and the lack of planning to support it.

Our roads are gridlocked, hospitals overwhelmed, schools stretched, and beaches polluted from overloaded sewer systems. Auckland’s rush hour is now all day. A second harbour crossing is decades overdue.

Last year, 72,000 people left NZ permanently, while 120,000 arrived — a net increase of around 50,000. Meanwhile, massive housing developments are appearing everywhere. Something doesn’t add up.

My bigger concern, though, is the spiritual impact. Mosques, Hindu temples, and shrines are appearing rapidly. Councils are approving massive religious structures without consent in the name of “culture.” While many see the natural consequences, few see the spiritual ones — but they will.

History shows what happens when nations abandon their Christian foundations. Look at the West today as God is pushed out of Parliament and schools — the rot is setting in.

Finally, we already allow religious exemptions for things like Sikh turbans and ceremonial blades. So why deny a peaceful Christian march using a flimsy excuse about safety?

Tongue in cheek, maybe the powers that be just love Destiny supporters so much they want to “protect” them from the bridge collapsing.

As the Tui ad says — yeah right!

What have I been saying for years — and in my rece

What have I been saying for years — and in my recent posts? 🤔😜 This is one of thousands of professors and scientists coming to the conclusion that evolution is outdated and that creation is the only explanation.

In 2018, respected Yale professor and computer scientist David Gelernter renounced his belief in evolution in an essay titled Giving Up Darwin. He stated that while Darwin explained small adaptations within species, he could not explain the origin of new species — the very question evolution claims to answer.

Gelernter was influenced by works such as Stephen Meyer’s Darwin’s Doubt, which argues that the fossil record does not support the gradual emergence of new species. Instead, species appear fully formed and remain largely unchanged.

There has never been one species observed changing into another. A sponge has never become an oyster or a crab. No bug has turned into a bird. No animal has reproduced another kind — and no ape has ever become a human. Everything produces after its own kind, exactly as the Bible declared thousands of years ago.

Sadly, many young people are taught evolution as unquestionable fact, without being told that many of the greatest scientists — Newton, Pascal, and others — were believers in God. Even hundreds of scientists in Britain once declared that true science and Scripture cannot contradict one another, as science itself is still progressing.

As my mum used to say, “Put that in your pipe and smoke it.”
Psalm 14:1 says, “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.’”

Think about it: if there is — or should I say when there is — the next world war, do these goons want America to protect them? And if so, why should the US help people like this?

The alternative to help from the USA is living under Communist China or some other regime. While there is no perfect country or government, some are definitely better to live under than others.
The USA is one of them. (Not perfect — that is, until Christ comes and rules and reigns, and the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of our God, and He will rule forever and ever.)

It is one thing to have good people immigrate here. We have some very awesome immigrants from many (over 70) nations in our church.
The problem with large immigration numbers, as we know, is that our infrastructure is not coping at present.

But of more concern to me is the spiritual aspect of our nation. It is another thing entirely to bring in non-Christian religions, let alone people who have “witch doctor/craft” practices.
And although a lot of people don’t realise it, yoga can also open people up to wrong spiritual forces.

Like it or not, we live in a very spiritual world, and of course many Eastern countries are far more aware of that than what has become the very secular and materialistic Western nations.

I said how “traditional Indian medical practitioners,” whose practices can be in occult or spiritual realms, would see the rise of witchcraft in NZ, which sadly will have a very ill effect on the country.
But sadly, it looks like it is already happening, as reported this week.

I can understand how people naively get involved with spiritual things like yoga or Buddha statues in their garden, not realising the consequences. But I am not sure why anyone in their right mind would get involved in outright witchcraft — apart from being completely deceived. Deception is a powerful force. And the Bible declares that God gave them over to deceptive spirits because they did not have a love for the truth.

His name is Jesus.
God help us!
